Ilha do Guajirú - History

Ilha do Guajirú - Island of Guajiru, is a peninsula located approx. 230 km north of Fortaleza on the direct way to Jeri.

The sand bank approx. 500 m in front of the beach with a lenght of approx. 4 km created over the years a huge natural lagoon.

Ilha do Guajirú - Water Sport

 

8 month a year wind every day, sunny weather, constant air temperatures of more than 30 °C and water temperature of 25 °C - it was just a question of time that wind and kite surfer explore the north east of Brazil.
